Mobile pet hair removal for cars in Melbourne
Dog hair weaves itself into carpet and seat fabric where a normal vacuum can’t lift it. We work it out properly, as part of the full detail.
Why pet hair is so hard to shift
Short, coarse hair — from breeds like Labradors, staffies and kelpies — works its way into the weave of carpet and cloth seats and hooks in. Vacuuming alone mostly glides over the top. It has to be loosened and brushed out of the fibres first, then vacuumed, and that’s slow, careful work.
How we tackle it
- Loosen hair from carpet and fabric with rubber and brush tools, working with the weave
- Vacuum in passes as it lifts, including seat gaps, rails and boot
- Detail the plastics and glass where dog noses and paws have been
- Finish with the rest of the full interior and exterior detail
Keeping it under control after
A seat cover or boot liner and a quick weekly once-over with a rubber glove will keep it manageable between details. We wrote a full DIY guide: how to get dog hair out of car seats.

Questions people actually ask
Does pet hair removal cost extra?
Our price is $150 for the full detail. If the hair is extreme, mention it when you book so we can allow the time.
Can you get rid of the dog smell?
Removing the hair and cleaning the surfaces it’s been sitting on removes much of what causes the smell. Smell that has soaked deep into the foam of the seats may not fully disappear with a detail — we’ll be upfront on the day.
Is every hair going to be gone?
We aim for that. With some fabrics and heavy shedders, a few embedded hairs can remain — we’d rather tell you that now than overpromise.
