How mobile car detailing works in Melbourne

What “mobile” actually means
Mobile car detailing means the detailer comes to the car, not the other way around. There’s no drop-off, no waiting room and no losing half a Saturday. We arrive with the chemicals, brushes, microfibres and equipment, and detail the car on the spot.

We’re based in Pascoe Vale South and work across Melbourne’s northern and inner-northern suburbs — Pascoe Vale, Coburg, Brunswick, Essendon, Glenroy, Preston, Reservoir, Moonee Ponds, Northcote, Thornbury and Carlton, plus the suburbs around them. See every area we cover.
If you’re in the south-east or the outer west, we’re honestly not the closest option — you’ll get a better service from a detailer near you.
What we need from you
- An outside tap we can reach from the car. We work off your tap rather than a tank.
- The car emptied of personal items — glovebox, console, door pockets, boot.
- Safe space around the car to open the doors and work.
That’s it. Everything else comes with us.
Home, work or apartment?
Home with a driveway is the easiest setup. Work car parks often work too — check your building is fine with it. Apartments depend on tap access and building rules, so call before booking and we’ll tell you straight whether it’s doable.
Mobile vs taking it to a workshop

Cabin reset
- Full vacuum — seats, carpets, floor mats, under seats and boot
- Mats removed, cleaned and dried before going back in
- Dash, centre console, cup holders and door cards cleaned
- Vents, seams and switchgear brushed out
- Non-greasy, matte finish on interior plastics
- Leather wiped down and cleaned
- Door jambs and sills cleaned
- Interior glass and mirrors streak-free
Safe hand wash
- Wheels, tyres and arches deep-cleaned (dedicated wheel chemicals)
- Snow foam pre-wash to lift grit before anything touches the paint
- Two-bucket hand wash with clean wash mitts
- Hand dried with plush microfibre — no air-drying water spots
- Exterior glass cleaned
- Tyres dressed for a clean satin finish
Not offered
- Machine polishing or paint correction
- Waxing
- Ceramic coating
If you need paint correction or a ceramic coat, that’s a specialist workshop job. We do a full clean properly — and that’s all we sell.

Do mobile detailers bring their own water?
Some carry tanks; we work off your outside tap, so all we need is a tap within reach of the car.
Do I need to be home during a mobile detail?
Not always — we need access to the car and a tap. Sort out the details when you book.
Is mobile detailing as good as a detailing shop?
For a full clean inside and out, yes — the process and products are the same. Shops have the edge for paint correction and coatings, which we don’t offer.
